Issues with wife's nearly new car. What are our rights?

At the end of June 2021 we bought my wife a brand new 21 plate Seat Ibiza FR Sport as she needed a new car. It also gave us piece of mind having a full manufacturer warranty.
We chose this model as it had Sat Nav and Bluetooth which she uses most days due to travelling around in her car for work.
Around August time the Sat Nav started to become a bit faulty and not load up. Shortly afterwards the Bluetooth intermittently stopped allowing any phones to connect to the stereo.
In November when they completely stopped working all together I got the car booked in at the dealer ship we bought it from. Car was seen 04 Dec 2021
They diagnosed a faulty control model and said that it was on back order but should be into the dealer ship within a few weeks.
After hearing nothing at the start of January I phoned the dealership for an update only to be told the part wasn’t in and there was no forecast as to when it would be.
What are our rights with this? Car has just done 3800miles.
Wife really needs the satnav and Bluetooth to work so that she can use the car for work?
How long is reasonable to give them chance to repair the car?
Any other options.
Thanks.

We’re currently in unchartered territory at the moment given delays to parts and microchips due to Covid. A reasonable timeframe in normal times maybe different to a reasonable timeframe currently.

Initially the dealer said the parts weren't affected by the chip shortage issue but now seems to be back tracking and now no longer offer a timeframe.

Would an interim solution be to use Google maps on a mounted handset or if not use an A to Z.0

I love my Ibiza, its a cracking car but the year it was built they had an issue with the body control module that means some of them drain their battery to the point it won't start if not driven for 3 or more days. 12 years on they still don't know how to fix it. If leaving it more than 3 days it either needs to go on it on a battery conditioner or I disconnect the battery.
They may sort yours but don't hold your breath.0 -
Worst I've seen so far for a replacement unit from another major manufacturer is 12 months. Not sure such a fault would allow you to reject as the car works and alternatives are available, albeit not as convenient

As they can't get the parts what resolution do you want?0

I think the best you can try is to put some pressure on SEAT UK.
Maybe try SEAT UK's customer services and open a complaint.
You could try pushing them to pay for a standalone Satnav system with bluetooth hands free.
They might see that as a reasonable compromise until the part to fix yours is available.

I suspect this comment may not be very welcome, but does anybody really need satnav and Bluetooth to use their car for work?
I'd go with:Goudy said:I think the best you can try is to put some pressure on SEAT UK.

I use my Sat Nav just so I can win an argument with a woman.
