It depends what battery and associated inverter you have but might be as simple as removing some cables from the Social Energy box and connecting to the inverter via an app.ric3188 said:People suggesting I take over control of my battery sounds great BUT I have no clue on how to do that0 -
Hey, I keep coming back to this forum trying to sort out the quagmire of solar kit that I've got an trying to get some sensible data from.... If you need a hand getting shot of the social energy hub I'm more than happy to talk you through it. Just PM me and I'll send you my number.
Has anyone else had any luck in being able to keep an eye on their generation/usage without the social energy app? To be fair to them (and it was their only good point) the app was actually pretty good and consolidated all of the data pretty well. I've got wifi loggers on both my solar and battery inverter and can look at the data being generated by either but as they don't talk to one another and don't talk to my smart meter, trying to work out the cost of what I've used, gains from export etc becomes ridiculously complicated. I can pull the data via API from both but I need some kind of front end that consolidates it all. Anyone else had any luck?0
