Road tax
Car tax
Ved whatever you refer to it as.
At the moment I'm a band G at 161g/km and pay £210 a year on a 56 plate with tax due in September.
I read an Express article which said I'll then be paying £585 but a co-worker read an article from another site that said I'd only be paying £10 extra at £220.
Bit of a difference. Just wondering which is correct.

They are looking at the first year VED not the rate on subsequent years.
Cant be bothered googling the VED tables for you but VED is increasing in line with RPI and so it will be much closer to your view of a modest increase than theirs of an over 100% increase.1 -

Sometimes its a preferential thing. I prefer one website even though it goes down every now and then and quite
often slow to access the pages. But i really hate the layout of the alternate website.
Other people think I am mad for sticking with it. If they provided unreliable data then I would stop using it though.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Should have checked on the government website

It'll be up a tenner or so and thats it.
Cant believe how some of the newspapers were presenting this, all for a clickbait headline and to worry people.0
