Reliable boiler and heating cover

I signed up to British Gas boiler and heating cover last month, but have since read reviews on the service which seem 90% negative with really long delays on call outs and repairs.

Are there any recommended alternatives known for good service? I don't mind paying a bit more to know someone will be with us quickly if needed.

Homeserve!!! Had the best experience from them in comparison to Churchill Home Emergency & British gas

Have a look at Homeserve or home emergency cover through your home insurer (doesn’t include boiler service but you can pay homeserve to come out and do it).

fyi Aviva and QuoteMeHappy use homeserve for their home emergency cover. Only thing it doesn’t cover is replacement taps and your water pipe from meter to stop !!!!!! but you can take out a homeserve plumbing policy for 75p (sometimes 50p) a month (there is an excess) to cover this
