Iphone se 1st generation after doing a restore. I havelost the message icon and cannot send txs or receive them. I am on giffgaff network. Thanks

I think things have changed regarding the placement of that icon .
where I find it now, is if I just swipe down . The Siri suggestions have a list of the most common apps / icons I use . The search tab is above those icons .First thing to do though , is actually turn the power off altogether and then turn it on .1
