Virgin Media Haggling

  • Further to my post yesterday I may have got an even better deal. My package included a SIM (with O2 now) but that was contracted and billed separately at £25 per month. But that is for my 82 years old Mum who hardly ever has her phone on ! So I called O2 and as I was within my 14 days cooling off period asked if I could cancel. They said yes. I checked that it would not impact my Virgin media bundle and they assured me that no, they were completely separate with no link between the O2 and Virgin elements. Which means I may now be getting my Ultimate Oomph bundle (less the SIM) for £64 which if this holds up will be a real result ! Oh and I'll just get a PAYG SIM from somewhere for my Mum just in case she ever needs it :-)
