Council tax challenge question- property valuation vs current band

Options
Hello, I'm working on my CT challenge application. I've found plenty of evidence that properties in the area fall within band B and C based on prices in the 90s and early 00s. A few properties are currently on band C but others are on band D (the band I'd like to challenge for my property). Is it worth adding the evidence of property prices to my application if the banding of those properties I'm comparing mine with are on the same band. or should I just include properties that meet the criteria of lower banding + historic property prices? Thanks

As CT bands in England and Scotland are based on 1991 prices, there is little point in quoting later house prices. The VOA have details of virtually every single property sale anyway.
If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales
