Changing door to window. What insulation?

Hi all, I’m changing a back door and side panel to a window.
The house has cavity wall insulation installed. What insulation should we use between the bricks and blocks underneath the window?
Any advice is much appreciated, thanks.

Probably cavity batts would be your best bet. Do you know the type of insulation and size of cavity?0

Thanks for the reply 🙂 the bricks have been laid with brick ties and so can’t put cavity batts in0

Batts are easy to cut to get inbetween the ties. As long as you butt them up to each other they will be fine.0
