Bathroom Appliance Brands

Hi,
I'm getting ready to renovate my bathroom and will look to do it myself. I will be fitting a 1400 x 900mm walk in shower, double vanity unit, toilet and bath. Most of the stuff will be replacing like for like (except for the double vanity unit).
Where i'm going around in circles is where to buy the appliances online and which brands are good. I've heard victoriaplum etc. aren't really great for their quality.
Pricewise, i'm looking around the middle point for money. For example, i'd be looking for a walk-in shower enclosure & tray for around £500 (excluding shower mixer) and a bath around £400.
Can anybody recommend good brands and where to buy them? I'm especially interested in showers and shower enclosures. For example, I know Mira is a good make for a shower tray but they don't seem to sell walk in type shower enclosures.
Thanks

Where are you based? I would recommend visit your local bathroom showroom (somewhere like easy bathrooms etc)
Get a idea for the brands you want and then check them against trading depot and qs supplies online to see if the price can be beat.0 -
If you are going to do a walk in shower then why not wet room it thereby eliminating any joins between the tray and the floor covering through which water might pass? Done properly the only exit point for the water, other than the waste, is the bathroom door.
If this is an option then take a look at the following where you can buy the shower tray former that gets tiled plus everything you need to waterproof the room:
Wet Room Shower Trays - Page 1 - Pure Adhesion Ltd
There's Victoria Plum and Victorian Plumbing - I believe one is good and the other less so but I mix them up so hopefully Doozergirl or someone will confirm.
If your toilet is going to have a concealed cistern or wall-hung pan then look at Geberit or Grohe for the cistern or frame.
Someone has suggested Easybathrooms and they had a decent range last time I looked but I found their customer service was terrible when I had an installation query regarding a basin unit and also when a customer needed some new O-rings for a bath tap and they suggested I take one of the old O-rings to Morley so they could compare it to a bag-full they had lying around!Sorry I can't think of anything profound, clever or witty to write here.0
