Warm Home Discount - Switching Supplier

Hello All.
I have applied for and been approved to recieve the warm home discount. This has not credited my energy account yet.
I'm moving home next week and my current supplier would need to move me from a standard to a fixed tariff (which will work out a lot more expensive for me) I may need to switch supplier at my new house but what will happen to my warm home discount?
Any thoughts or advice gratefully recieved
Thank you
Clara

I would imagine you would lose it and have to reapply with the new supplier which may have closed the scheme. That’s the normal rules who is your current supplier? I would ring them and explain they may be able to pay It soon.0

As regards to your new home just stay on the deemed tarrif where you will be protected by the cap.0

If your WHD is paid because you are in the Broader Group, then if you leave before you receive payment, you will lose your WHD.

Best bet would be staying with the supplier who you have applied for the WHD, you shouldn’t have to be a fixed tariff though.0
