Ordered an item; a completely different item arrived, company/website ordered from doesn't now exist

Good afternoon all,
First time poster!
I ordered a golf bag storage organiser at what was a good price, not a stupidly small amount but cheaper than elsewhere. There was nothing that made me think it was a scam. I have since had a tiny yellow headband arrive in the post instead; the packaging has the same tracking number for the item I originally ordered and have in my original order email.
There is an email address in my order email that I have emailed to request an immediate full refund but I doubt I'll get a reply. Now when I click on the shop link in that email, the shop doesn't exist.
I paid on my normal debit card.
Is there anything I can do to get my money back or am I just going to have to accept being out of pocket?
Thanks in advance
Luke

Let me guess, it came from China...? What was the web address of the online store?
Chargeback is probably your only hope.

It takes a long time to wind up a company and so its more likely you have lost the ability to contact the company rather than the company itself having disappeared though I suspect you potentially dont know which company you actually ordered from anyway.
Chargeback or PayPal dispute etc depending on how you paid for it. They may require the wrong goods are returned first (namely if its PayPal) and so if it is a far east company the cost of return may be prohibitive.0 -

Contact your bank immediately for chargeback. This is a very common scam particularly with goods coming from China. Part of the scam is a demand to return the incorrect item - to China, with the cost of doing so being more than the value of the correct item. Check Trustpilot to see if others have reported the same issue. If so, the bank may not require you to go through the normal rigmarole as it is then an obvious scam.

Have you searched for the shop any other way other than through the email link? All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
Hi all,
Thank you for your comments.
As you say I think chargeback is my only hope.
I now can't find anything online for the company, either by name or through the email in the link. They also have no reviews at all on TrustPilot.
I'll get onto my bank tomorrow when I'm now site-based with work and see how I get on.
Thanks again all0
