Thanks so Much.Cant Thank You guys on this page Enough.
But Please,I am very happy that we Got this mortgage offer after Several Back and Forths that lasted for about 2 months.
We were advised towards the time that we were about to get this mortgage offer that we should clear all our credit card Balances to 0.
I was at this point, very frustrated and decided to give this suggestion a trial before giving up.I used about 8000pounds [Out of our Deposit]To clear the credit cards and to my surprise,we got the Mortgage Offer.
Now,this is where my fear is.I know the solicitors will be requesting for us to pay the deposit to them,I had initially made up my mind that i will use the same credit cards that we cleared to pay the remaining/Missing part of the deposit, but i met a friend who advised me not to do so because the mortgage offer may be withdrawn.
I have run for help to friends, that they should lend me the money and hold on to my credit card.I even offered to give them my credit card online password/Log in details, and i will withdraw their money for them from my credit card immediately after i have taken possession of the house[Even if they want to charge me interest],but they said they dont have the money, only a long time friend wanted to lend me 1000pounds out of the money.
Please,is it sensible to just use my credit card to pay in,now that i dont seem to have a choice?
2]Will santander still do another credit search after they have issued mortgage offer to us?
Thanks and sorry that i came back to disturb you with more questions0 -
