Tap for water softner

We’re currently refurbishing our ground floor and want to fit a water softener. I’m trying to find a 3 way tap in gold, black or brushed brass but all of the ones I find are for a water filter/boiling water tap, can these still be used or can anyone point me in the direction of where i can buy something compatible with a softner?
Separately, if you have a softener was it worth the investment?
Thanks

Plenty of three way taps online. These have all sorts and colours not cheap though. https://www.threewaytaps.com/all-filter-taps-c102x3298901The following shows a fitting connected to the copper pipe I assume this feeds the filter element of the tap. https://www.thewatersoftenercentre.com/shopping/index.php?id_category=18&controller=category
cannot comment on your other question as we do not have a softener1 -
In our old house we had a Girona black 3 way tap and it was very good but black shows water marks easily.1
