Halfords Bike

I purchased an e bike from Halfords around 18 months ago. They have confirmed it is still under warranty and it needs a new part which will be covered by this.

My issue is that the part will be in sometime in February- a minimum of a month from when the bike went in.
My son uses the bike each day for a 14 mile round trip for school. Do I have any rights in terms of asking for a replacement until our bike is fixed? If it wsnt under warranty I would assume not but as it is I am unsure.

What do the terms of the warranty say about a replacement bike?

@DB1904 There is no mention of anything to do with replacements or reasonable time spans etc of repairs. It's quite vague and goes as far as to say the part is covered as long as not miused

In that case there's no entitlement to a loan bike.

I'm guessing the bike is unusable in the meantime?

Have you asked if they have any rental bikes available for the duration or have a scheme for this situation? It may be that they have something suitable for the repair period.
