Replacement item failed outside of original warranty

Hi. I bought a pair of Aftershokz headphones Nov2019 with a manufacturer's 2 year guarantee. Following them becoming faulty the manufacturer replaced them in April2021. They have now failed again in Jan 2022. The manufacturer have said that they will not replace them as they state the original purchase date of Nov2019. Is this correct? Or should they be using the April2021 date.
Thanks

They're correct. They don't offer an everlasting rollover warranty.2
