I recently bought a car with the added extras of services and mots (service pack) unfortunately I was in an accident and the car a total loss. After ringing the company they said they can possibly transfer the services to another car if I buy with them.
my question is, should they honour the service pack regardless if I buy another car with them or not? Or is this well within their rights? and if not will I be able to get the money back or is it a loss along with the car?
Hope someone can provide some advice.
Thanks.

Depends if you bought a service pack for any car or just the original .As to a transfer .Service pack included with car purchase then no consumer rights if you do not use .1

Yes it was sold with the car, was just itemised and added with the sale.
thanks for the reply and clearing that up.0 -
You could possibly use the loss of the service pack as part of the negotiation of total loss value with the third party insurer.1

What sort of service pack.
Manufacture or dealer backed?Life in the slow lane0 -
Morning Born_again,
it was dealer backed/in house with motor depot.
thanks Grumpy_chap it’s worth asking.1 -
So any service had to be done by Motor Depot to be free?
Given they have offered to transfer to another car if you buy from them, that not a bad offer, otherwise unless you can claim from 3rd party (very doubtful) it's lost cause.Life in the slow lane1
