Hello all, my first ever post and in need of some help please.....
Myself, my wife and 11 year daughter are planning on going to NYC in February, then go on a cruise for my 40th. After many re-arrangements, this was all going smoothly until I learned last night that the Mayor of New York has stipulated that everyone needs to be fully vaccinated to enter restaurants and other indoor venues (Museums theatres etc).
SO does anyone know if there is a get around to this, as they must know the UK doesn't offer vaccines to under 12s??
Thanks in advance for anyone's help

If you've already rearranged the trip many times then unfortunately it does look like you need to do so again....0 -
I can't see any exception in the rules - at the end of the day another country's requirements aren't their concern.0

Currently no exemptions- being enforced strictly and no expectation that it will be lifted anytime soon in NYC.( High case rates )You could stick to out door activities- Central Park, Times Square , Brooklyn Bridge , walk around China Town but expect it to be very cold in Feb.0

They are of course entitled to set whatever requirements they wish but if they do so without consideration to other countries' vaccination practices they will lose trade, investment and inbound tourism opportunities. They know that and I suspect they'll change0 -

I’m here at the moment and can confirm enforcement is very strict - at a broadway show last night they checked everyone had a mask (even kids over 2) and COVID passes at the door. It’s a little nicer than usual due to how quiet it is - we even got a row to ourselves on the plane!2

Thanks mattyprice4004
seems you are there and got valuable information, please can you tell me whether they just look at a printed covid vax letter to gain entrance, or do they scan the QR code?Cheers0
