Which car insurance has the lowest admin fees?

Hi folks, my first car insurance renewal is coming up and I'm wondering if anyone can recommend an an insurer with low admin fees, especially cancellation and removing a vehicle from a multi car policy.
Also, will I be able to switch to a new provider with my one years no claims discount if I set it up before my current one expires?

Surely you need to look at the bigger picture here.
Insurer A charges you £600 a year but only a tenner a time for admin fees.
Insurer B charges you £400 a year but £30 a time for admin fees.
Both offer identical cover
Quite clearly Insurer B is the better deal.3 -
I don't remember any admin fees from my time with Direct Line. I was able to add a driver for one day for the princely sum of £1 and increase my annual mileage by 25% at an extortionate £7.

You can set it up before yours current one expires but you can't have it start before the current one expires because the NCD would still be being used on the original policy , even if the overlap is only a day or two .1
