Hopefully staright forward question. Tried looking for answers on Ryanair but can't find the answer.
I have a refund voucher of £500 which expires in June. I plan to use a majority (£400) of it on new flights but what happens about any balance?
Does any balance need usuing up by the expiry date of mid June or can this be extended or another voucher applied for the balance?
Thanks

- Reimbursement Vouchers are issued by the Ryanair Group, Ryanair Dublin Office, Airside Business Park, Swords, Ireland (hereinafter “Ryanair”).
- These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of the Ryanair Reimbursement Vouchers. The Ryanair General Terms & Conditions of Carriage apply.
- Reimbursement Vouchers are in a full and final settlement of your claim for reimbursement under EU Regulation 261/2004.
- Reimbursement Vouchers are valid for 12 months after the issue date and they can be redeemed within that time on our site.
- Reimbursement Vouchers can only be redeemed in the currency of issue.
- Reimbursement Vouchers can only be redeemed by the recipient of the voucher.
- If the total flight price exceeds the value of the Reimbursement Voucher(s) used to pay for the booking, any price difference can be paid with by credit/debit card or with PayPal.
- If you don't use all of your voucher balance at one time, you can use your voucher code for future transactions.
- Reimbursement Vouchers can be used as payment for flights, seats, priority, checked bags, fast track, baby equipment, music equipment, sports equipment, travel insurance and associated taxes, fees and charges (not car hire, transfers or hotel bookings).
- Passenger name changes are not permitted if a booking has been paid for using a Reimbursement Voucher.
- Reimbursement Vouchers for non-subsidized flight tickets may not be redeemed against Spanish subsidized flight tickets.
- Ryanair reserves the right to withdraw or amend these Terms and Conditions at its reasonable discretion. Ryanair will notify customers of any changes in writing.
- Vouchers must be redeemed via the MyRyanair account used to make the original booking.
If you don’t use all the credit it will remain available for future purchases. I don’t think they will extend the expiry date though. Vouchers can be used for extras which may be an option if you have no other use for the left over credit.1 -
Ok cheers. Thanks for that.
I did select everything going related to flights, inc check-in, extra leg room, fast pass, meal's and I'm still left with a healthy balance so I'll need to probably look at booking another flight for another time so not to lose the money.0 -
