Multiple HDD storage enclosures

How many of each are we talking about?
I recently moved from a PC with two 2Tb to one with a single 4Tb drive. I copied everything from the 2s to the 4, and have left the 2s as they were on the day of the copy as backups. I also copied everything to a 5Tb external USB drive.
Have you put two 4s in the machine to replace two 2s?0 -
Have you thought of the low-tech power-saving solution?
Buy a new big HDD, copy all the data you want to keep off the 2TB drives onto the new drive and sell the 2TB drives on eBay? It can be surprisingly cost-effective and I remember once even making a 'profit' ie sold the old drives for more that I paid for the newer larger drive.
That is what I do when I install larger HDDs1
