Facebook marketplace and their strange rules for listing

Trying to list on Facebook marketplace today- and I think if I don't stop soon I'm likely to get banned!
Apparently a print of Aphrodite rising from the waves is too adult , as is a reclining Aphrodite figurine - so that's 2 items removed. Then my Beswick dog was removed as I can't sell live animals and a collectable pen as I used the word barrel and it says it is a fire arm.
Giving up and going shopping instead

And you thought ebay was bad.
Some things are beyond a joke, being overrun by the "what if the impossible happens" set of terms and conditions or rules.
Probably a lot of dangerous stuff being sold without anyone blinking an eye due to a lack of knowledge.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...1 -
Yes, I never understand marketplace.
My game of Connect 4 is not allowed - not sure why.
Also my tiny cowrie shells that you use in jewelry - that I understand because of the word shells.
Coins are not allowed but yesterday I saw 12 listings for coins from the same person. How did he get away?
Annoying thing is there is no one to get in touch with to find out the actual reason.
Oh yes and I have 2 books similar, by the same author, same cover photo but one is Physics and other one is Chemistry - titles are different by this one word only. But I can never list the books together as they count it as duplication! I have given up on them!0 -
And yet my local marketplace is flooded with 'Turkish' dining tables, covered in Versace logo's, fake Canada Goose and a guy selling HUNDREDS of knock off watches. I went through a phase of reporting but they still remained.
I even emailed a link to our local trading standards for watch guy, they thanked me but said they didn't use marketplace so unless I could give them an address they couldn't do anything. Hilarious.0 -

Probably a lot of dangerous stuff being sold without anyone blinking an eye due to a lack of knowledge. No one's blinking an eye, there's hardly any real eyes looking at it. Fb has approx 3 billion users and approx 60,000 staff. I'd wager there's only a small percentage of that staff on the marketplace. The bots will be programmed so they don't let live animals and naked pictures of some celebrity or other slip through. They won't be bothered if something ridiculous fails to get on.Fakes will be harder to catch and they can't really be blamed for someone selling them. I'm sure there will be some ridiculous ones that will have some explanation behind them..0 -
I was involved last summer in helping with the organisation of a small local music festival. I was asked to post on a few Facebook music forums just to promote the event and I included a link to the ticket website where people could buy tickets.
Goodness knows how I managed it (I rarely use Facebook) but I started to get emails saying my posts didn't meet Facebook Marketplace standards as apparently you can't sell tickets on there. Even though I wasn't selling tickets directly just pointing out where they were available from, and I certainly hadn't intended for my posts to be on Marketplace. Weirdly at least one post was allowed to stay while two or three others were removed, and they were almost identical.
I got round it by tweaking the wording of the post a little, but I did vow then and there I wouldn't ever intentionally use Marketplace, not least because I just don't understand it.....0 -
There is an archery items for sale FB page but you have to use words like bendy bits and pointy things.....

Last year I noticed there were lots of packs of cigarettes with an apple on top - so looks like they are selling an apple and not what is underneath it. Maybe they are still being listed but I am not noticing? How do the bots miss that but pick on my chemistry book?0
