Hello
Hope everyone is doing fine.
I have attached few images of car tyres condition. The mechanic has told me all the tyres need replacements ASAP.
Thanks
- Should i change my car tyres ? Please advise (refer images below for the car condition).
- Also If i take my car to MOT with these tyres, will the car pass MOT ?

1. Yes asda tyres is that way ---->2. They should not, and if they do I would not go to that place again. And FWIW I would recomend getting a tyre that is "soft" rather than "hard" so is used quicker (2 years max, well maybe 3/4 if you are reduced wear but still use in these times, maybe less *under 2) if it stands for months). Nicer ride better grip. Also maybe get better wheels. Yours are not as bad as some but you want a lot of tyre after the wheel not ardly any like a lot do these days. Looks good is not going to do you any favours in bad conditions. (and no they do not look good).2

Ok then... Planning to go for Michelin Primacy 4. Hope that's ok.

... and stop scraping along/bumping up kerbs - it's bad for the tyres!3

The second photo shows the date of manufacture - 1316.
Thats the 13th week of 2016, so they are almost 6 years old, not ancient, but old enough to be failing, hence the cracks.3 -

Understood. It's a 2016 car and the first tyres for the car.
Thanks

My tyre size didn't come on cross climate. May be that was available somewhere else.
Primacy was well within the budget. Primacy had a B rating for fuel efficieny and A rating for wet weather conditions. And 99 £'s each tyre.
Also 50 £'s voucher offer going on for Michelin(asda tyres). So went for it.
Thanks
