Another success writing to CEO - thanks Redx & KeithP

Another success after emailing CEO of Pure Gym to get my parking fine cancelled - he responded in 24 hours and within 3 days received confirmation that my parking fine has been cancelled.
Never under estimate the power of taking time to write to CEO of a company - his secretary even commented that it had made her day so I believe that they genuinely want to help.

Good result, especially when I don't have very much recollection of Pure Gym being that helpful previously (perhaps others have just contacted the rowing machine cleaner rather than the CEO). 

Straight to the top, the organ grinder!  Nice one. 🥂

Oh god no I always try to resolve at local level first as it gives you leverage when you o to the top with a name about how unhelpful they have been.  This is the second success emailing the CEO - would recommend it every time as no one likes a sneaky private parking fine no matter how much money you earn.  Although in my case it was my fault as did not enter my registration details when entering the gym at a retail car park owned by Euro Car Park.  My only mitigation would have been Xmas excesses which would not have held up in court so feel relieved that it has been resolved this way.  
Love this forum - I am a lot better off because of it!!

ECP won't own the car park , somebody else does , but ECP are contracted as the parking company to operate on the site on behalf of the landowner or managing agent. No different than employing a tarmc firm to resurface the car park ! Or a cleaning firm to maintain the lavatory facilities , empty the bins and mop the floors 😁😁👍👍

The retail park will be British land , Intu , a pension or investment company , peel holdings , or some other entity , typically managed by savills or sone other managing agent

Sometimes the retailer tenants have clout with the owner or managing agent ! Money talks !! !ol' 🤔🤔
