Heads up, compers! In order to investigate a technical issue, we've had to move some of the older threads from Game Over into a new category called 'Game Over Archives'. It'll be comps from before 2017, so shouldn't have too much impact on your day-to-day Forum experience. Thanks for your patience!

I got an e-mail from Sipsmith’s this afternoon.   Seems to be this competition: https://sipsmith.com/freeglider-swancierge/

Not quite clear what the prize is but it seems to involve someone coming round and delivering cocktails made from non-alcoholic gin.

I’ve got a phone call with the marketing team on Monday to arrange it.

Can't find if it was posted here - but if you posted it.. Thank You!

Sounds as if it could be fun... interesting to know how the alcohol free gin itself is. Like most, though not all, Sipsmith's offerings, the non-Sipsmith's alcohol free gins I;ve tried so far are terrible... reasonable nose undiluted but no taste or nose after mixed. Even the promoter of one such alternative couldnt tell which was their "G&T" and which was just Tonic water in a blind taste test... did still had the balls to try and do the sale after that so credit to him.

Since I'm not a gin drinker (m'wife is) I can't really say.  I quite liked it with tonic and in a cocktail.   We've since tried the same cocktail with real gin and I didn't like it as much.

Anyway - the prize was:  Mixologist visits and brings a bottle of Freeglider for us to try, makes a couple of cocktails explaining as he went and then leaves us the rest of the bottle with supplies to keep experimenting viz.  bottle of cocktail pre-mix, glasses, cocktail shaker and all the strainers/spoons/jigger, book of recipes plus a bottle of Sipsmith's Lemon drizzle and a bottle of Sipsmith's Vodka.  So a good haul!
