Any way to access tax certificates for NS&I bonds online?

I need to complete my 2020-21 tax return, but can't find a way of accessing a tax certificate from the NS&I website. It's not listed in the "Documents" section of the "Profile" area. I tried asking via their webchat service, but they couldn't help. Does anyone have any tips for getting tax certs from the NS&I website?

Tax certificates have been replaced with interest statements, because tax is no longer deducted from savings accounts. I just declare the interest from my statements. You should be able to find that online. I get paper statements from NS&I.0

I can find quarterly statements for each of my 8 accounts. Does that mean I have to trawl through 32 statements and total the interest from them all?GeoffTF said:Tax certificates have been replaced with interest statements, because tax is no longer deducted from savings accounts. Or view the accounts themselves and add up the numbers in each with a calculator.itm2 said:

You need to keep proper records. I suggest that for each tax year, you maintain a spreadsheet giving the interest payments for all of your accounts.itm2 said:

Yes - that's exactly what I do. It's just that other savings institutions (even P2P providers) make that job alot easier than NS&I by issuing a single tax summary/certification at the end of every tax year. Frankly, it's not rocket science from an IT perspective.GeoffTF said:

Normal rules don't apply to government bodies!
DWP also don't send a P60 for your pension payments (and thus HMRC using the wrong figure by the way)0 -

And how wonderful when HMRC send you two tax statements/calculations, for the same tax year, in consecutive months, with the 2nd showing different figures from the first. I'd love to work on that random number generator at HMRC0 -
I am wondering how to get this information for closed income bond accounts. Can't see old statements anywhere.0
