Divan Base with 4 drawers -advice please

Has anyone used either of the below companies to buy a divan bed base?

I'm looking for a double divan base with 4 drawers

It's very difficult to know if reviews are from genuine customers when you look online and I'm not sure what questions to ask.

I haven't dealt with either company, but what sort of information do you want?  Drawer size, weight limits.....

I've got the weights and dimensions etc, it was more any questions that might highlight any problems, things I hadn't thought to check.

I thought views from people who had actually bought from the companies would be helpful to me.

I bought a double divan base from divanbasedirect last Christmas. Didn't have any problems at all. The base is fine, and delivery was on time. I didn't post a review on their site though.

No experience of either company, but personally speaking I didn't like having drawers beneath the divan and much prefer the ottoman base (super king size) that we have now.

Is there a reason you particularly want drawers? I guess some people will find the ottoman style difficult to lift up.....

I was originally looking at an ottoman base but thought there might be problems in the future with the gas lifts and I would be safer with drawers, I have a 2 drawer base at the moment.

May I ask where you bought your ottoman base from?

Again, not those specific companies but I have a 4 drawer and was looking at others.
Mine is Relyon, specific factory in the west country and they are good deep drawers. The usual trend are shallow. I'd advise looking at the depth, sides and all.
The mattress you put on top though is important.

I purchased a double divan with base ( 4 drawers ) from Divan Base Direct.
Very prompt and professional . I too was unsure about ottoman , but went for the drawers 
The funny thing was the delivery chaps who also assembled the bed came from Telford and one of them couldn't understand a thing I was saying . With myself having a random speech impediment , I saw the funny side . Gave them tea and biccies ..
