Water in diesel fuel
Comments

I live near High Wycombe, the Asda petrol station has always had a reputation for sub-standard fuel. I only know one person who still uses it after nearly everyone having had a bad tank from there at some point. Morrisons is usually the cheapest in Wycombe, normally at least 1p a litre cheaper and often 3-4p a litre cheaper, the three petrol stations in Cressex (Shell, Esso and Texaco) are almost always the most expensive in town and the BP on West Wycombe Road seems to come with a fairly high risk of getting your card cloned.Cbb52 said:Thanks for the comments. I don't know how many cars actually have water/fuel sensors fitted. My car is only 6 years old so I doubt a split pipe is the problem. Because of the fuel sensor warning I addressed the problem quickly but still had to have 3/4 tank of diesel drained, the tank flushed out, a new fuel filter and a new sensor. I had filled the tank with diesel from an Asda filling station in High Wycombe. Anyone else had problems there?0 -
Morrisons recently had an issue with diesel mixed with water...have a quick google0
