Maybe you will have to put the debt busting on hold for a while.
I know it won't help much, but do another soa.
Does hubby get his petrol costs reimbursed ? If not he may be better looking for alternative employment - not easy in this climate I know, but something has to be done to take away this pressure. Have you spoken to anyone like CCCS or Payplan about the best way forward with the debts ? Also double check with a Welfare Rights organisation that you are in fact getting maximum everything you can. If hubby's salary has gone down CTC should increase. What about childcare vouchers ?
hi vanda,
hubby gets a tax free car allowance, so no petrol reimbursed. we have managed to clear off a fair bit of debt since last year, but the credit crunch has really bitten us in everyway.
no more nursery fees after this month as my middle daughter will be in full time school come september.
hope you are okay

Afternoon all,
not much to report today,
girls sports day was cancelled beacuse of all the rain and typically its blazing sunshine today.
only made £1.70 on slice the pie today,:ocan not seem to motivate myself and yet motivation shouldn't be the problem as we have 2 weeks til pay day and 2 weeks and 1 day until hols.
i know if sounds awful, but i can not even think about getting excited for it.:o
this is the first time we have been away for more than 3 days since we had the girls and i'm usually excited to the point of being sick, and making endless lists of what to take and what to do but i'm not.
i feel so gulity that we are going on this fab holiday when we are all but trading water, what am i saying we are not even doing that.
i wake up thinking about money, spend all day trying to move/save/make money and i go to bed thinking of money.
its a true saying that the best thing about having money is not having to think about money.
god, sorry i went off on one then, right off to make some moneytotal -nov07 [strike]£25,526[/strike] jan08 [strike]£23,246[/strike] May08 [STRIKE]£21,171[/STRIKE] June 08 £20,9640 -

To make money ????? or something else ?
Hi Cheap
Do keep reading your thread, but there isn't much I can say to help, apart from here's £21000, which sadly I don't have to give you.
Keep strong.
Best wishes

just for fun, chat, gossip;) its nice to have company:D
how are you, up to anything good?
i'm still trying to slice the pie like a woman possesed but keep straying onto facebook and the like:rolleyes:total -nov07 [strike]£25,526[/strike] jan08 [strike]£23,246[/strike] May08 [STRIKE]£21,171[/STRIKE] June 08 £20,9640 -
afternoon all,
not much happening here today
hubby was out today so had to walk to school at 8.20 lovely 3 mile round trip:rolleyes:
and then back again at 11.00 as my middle daughter finishes early years then.
so 6 miles for me today, he was back for the 3.00 one or it would be 9 miles:eek:
trying to slice the pie as much as poss, over the last couple of days managed £20.00:D
it was all going to the holiday and then to making sure we manage to get through the next 2 weeks until payday,
now its for a different reason, i have always looked after my mams money, and set up all direct debits and money going in and out.
anyway she decided to have a bank account in her own name, which i thought was great as she can control all her own money.
i have opened the account for her and spent hours sorting out all the payments and direct debits, as the account she used was in my name and the new one is in her name.
anyhow, she thinks that she has more in her account than she has!!!, now she has lent money to us in the past and said pay it back when you can, and mostly we have but not everything., i know she is fine with this and has even said to forget it, but i wont.:o
so she thinks she should have an extra £200 in her account, i dont want to tell her as she has pretty much always had a tough life and i want to look after her,:o
i am getting it all ready for her before i go away so she understands how to use it and whats in , whats going to come out and so on.
so thats it £200 in the next 10 days:rolleyes:
can i do ittotal -nov07 [strike]£25,526[/strike] jan08 [strike]£23,246[/strike] May08 [STRIKE]£21,171[/STRIKE] June 08 £20,9640 -
I have just spent the past 3 hours on and off (I should be working lol!) reading through this entire thread, just wanted to say keep your chin up Cheap as Chips and a huge massive ((hug))
I have lurked on this board for too long and will have to get my own house in order and start my own diary thread but just wanted to let you know that just reading your thread you have inspired me to get off my backside and make my first post! :T0
