Hi, what grants are currently available for loft and cavity insulation on a council property, if any, or if it not allowed on a rented property? Thanks in advance.

You would need to speak to the council. I strongly doubt they would allow you to make any such changes without their permission. They might do it for their own properties anyway on some rolling programme.0

It's currently available for energy efficient home improvements, covering up to 2/3 of the value up to a £5,000 maximum payout, but that will be a negotiation with the council as they are the effective 'homeowners'0
