LPA do's and don'ts - any advice please

My partner & I are about to set up LPAs with a long standing friend (none of us has children\siblings to pass this task on to!)  Has anyone come across things they wished they had\had not done\written into the LPA when eventually coming to use it?

There’s a thread on here somewhere.
Are you doing finances, health/welfare or both?

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.
