Himilayan £3500 mens health trip update

I couldn't go, the T&C's stated that I had to take the trip (and friend) before 1st Feb, my wife is due with our 2nd baby then, and they told me that I couldn't pass the trip to my friend.

I had to let it go and they were going to draw someone else from the competition.

Does this sound right because I have a friend who would have killed to go??

    Yes that's often what happens if someone can't go or doesn't claim their prize in time. Shame you couldn't go, but then baby No 2 must be more exciting?!

    ooh, thats a shame, i would have thought that if in the terms and conditions it says that you have to be on the trip then it will be fair that they draw someone elses name out that can take the trip. well done on the win though, would have been a great prize if you could have gone

    Sorry to hear that, im sure you will win another biggie to make up for it. I agree with their decision though, wouldnt be fair to other people that entered if the prize went to somebody that didnt enter themselves.

    I'm loathe to say what a shame as that is a fantastic bundle of joy you have coming to you! I read someone else say it was one of the longer comps but the best prize they won when they had a baby & well worth the wait :)
