Add or change to Alexa controlled thermostat

I have an 'Ideal Logic ESP1 30' boiler in my flat with a wired thermostat ESRTP5 (Branded 'Therma').
I would like to know if it would be possible to have a wireless and Alexa controlled thermostat instead.
Also, is this something that can be fitted by myself?
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

There are so many boiler lexi gadgets around, for your boiler a quick conversion from a wired programmable thermostat to wifi alexi the ideal wifi halo is good product.

As the internal wiring needs to be accessed to remove & bridge out the existing thermostat wiring, the front case needs to be removed. Taking the front case off is possible for competent persons only 

So your installer  would consider 

Turn off electric to boiler, verify the electric is disconnected.
Take front  case off 
In conjunction with your installation and servicing manual locate the existing wired thermostat wiring and do what is mentioned here  https://idealheating.com/uploads/documents/halo-wifi-installation-223828-2.pdf
Put front case back on,
Remove blanking insert from front case.
Pull down the fly lead and plug it into the halo interface unit. Push interface unit in to secure.

Turn electric supply back on to boiler and set up the halo.

Its a quick install  10 minutes
