There are more experts in construction than a RICS surveyor (which is much like being a GP who refers on to experts).Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Did he explain this is a new "agreed methodology" between the RICS and Historic England and the PCA and was brought about exactly to address issues regarding the nonsense that's been touted by the "damp proofing" industry over many years regarding so-called rising damp.Paulwilson999 said:Doozergirl said:There are more experts in construction than a RICS surveyor (which is much like being a GP who refers on to experts).
Well, after yesterdays replies I called RICS and was provided with the contract details of their expert in Dampness who explained the risks of Rising Damp and how they have produced a document on its detection and treatment. This has been approved by the PCA. There are no other Dampness experts, RICS are the ONLY legal experts that Courts accept apparently. But I thank you for your comments but on this occasion I will reply on expert advice rather than "Google".2
