Spend the money from another account (after opening it lol)?
But if i open another account it will show on my credit report and they will want to see statements?
Don't usually want to see every account under your name, but just whatever accounts cover
    - deposit
    - income
    - regular outgoings for rent, mortgage, bills, food, etc

If you open another account and transfer £1,000 to it as a one off (assuming you don't need that 1k to demonstrate your deposit), then I don't imagine the lender would care. If you also receive any gambling profits to that account, which funds the next bet, so you don't have to keep dipping into your main account.

Note if they explicitly ask about whether you gamble then I wouldn't lie.. that would be fraud and could also get your mortgage revoked.

    Hello.

I currently work away in the desert and i have no outgoings on my bank account apart from a few CC transactions to keep the credit score up.

I gamble on football because i enjoy it and it passes the time, i dont depend on it, i genuinely enjoy it.

I have applied for a UK mortgage and have an AIP in place. I have been advised to keep my statements clear of all gambling transactions. Now i understand if i want a property i have to stop but i was wondering if there was anyway around this to keep having my football bets but without showing on my statements?

I currently spend between £100 - £250 per month on betting.

    Any help is massively appreciated

    Thanks
@mchad2 £100-250 a month worth of transactions shouldn't be an issue with a lot of lenders (but if you're working overseas then perhaps your options are already limited) but if you want to use a quasi bank-account that doesn't show up on your credit-report, you could try the likes of Monese. The only issue being that the Mastercard that they issue (both digital and physical) isn't accepted by a minority of bookies, though most of the biggies are fine with it, as are the exchanges.

I guess it depends on what payment types your bookie accepts - I guess you bet remotely.

Some of the big UK bookies seem to accept payments from e-wallets (like paypal) - and they don't report to the credit agencies.

At least one large UK bookie seems accepts payments by Western Union - so you pay cash at a WU agency.

I guess it depends how much you need to top-up your bookie account (i.e. whether you tend to lose a lot). If your bank statements show lots of large payments to your paypal account, or lots of large cash withdrawals, I expect your mortgage lender will ask about them.

Withdraw the cash from your account & go to a bookies in person?
This. Coral/Ladbrokes/Paddypower let you deposit cash in branch to use online.

Or do it via PayPal to the few that still allow it.
As i said i work in the desert, in the middle of nowhere and i am next home in April.

I have tried paypal but it still shows up with the betting company name
In which case you are doing it wrong. Send CASH to your Paypal account using their sort code and account number (or one of the other ways), and then do the transaction with the bookie direct with Paypal.
Thanks. I have zero idea how to do this. Can it be done on the app or the website?

    Thanks

How to transfer money from a bank to PayPal

PayPal recommends linking your bank account with your PayPal account, so that you can make payments quickly and simply. To add money from a bank account, simply follow these steps:¹

    1. Login to your PayPal account.
    2. Go to your ‘Wallet’.
    3. Select ‘Transfer Money’.
    4. Select ‘Add money to your balance’.
    5. Provide your bank information, by following the on-screen instructions.

There is then absolutely no need for you to involve your bank account when you perform a gambling transaction, the money is taken from your standing PayPal balance.
I have PayPal set up on internet banking with a sort code and account number, but I cant seem to find this procedure online anymore, maybe you have to do the above first.

I can;t comment on gambling sites, but in general I don't think you even need to transfer the money over to Paypal in advance - I have my Paypal account set up with a linked bank account. Whenever I make a Paypal payment, Paypal DD the payment directly from the account, and the transaction simply shows up on the bank statement as 'Paypal'.

The OP is claiming it shows the bookies name when he does it like that, suppose see how he gets on with the above.

Every gambler I ever speak to never loses, so deposit a £100 from your bank account and then use your winnings to bet from that point forward and withdraw cash when it gets over £1000.

That is the case if you use a debit card on your paypal account, but not if the money is directly taken from your bank.
