How can I deal with this internal wall?

We're looking to move house (Victorian end terrace). One of the bedrooms has a very sharp angle, think 45 degrees, with two exterior walls. The paint in this corner is peeling off and we get condensation mould on it during the winter. I've had the guttering checked and there are no leaks and the exterior wall was re-pointed over the summer. This winter we've used a dehumidifier and that's completely solved the condensation mould.
I want to sort the wall out before we put it on the market but don't know how best to go about it. I've scraped off the peeling paint with a wallpaper stripper (see pic) and the underlying plaster, to my untrained eye, doesn't seem too bad. Ideally, I'd probably get the wall drylined but I'd rather not have the hassle and cost if I can avoid it. I'm wondering whether I could fill in the worst bits, use a damp proof paint then paper with a textured wallpaper? Or am I going to have to get someone in?

Yes, you can fill and sand. Yes, you can add wallpaper if you want. Whether you "have to get someone in" depends on your DIY skills. If it's condensation, not penetration, why do you think you need "a damp proof paint"? What do you want to protect?

I would sand a bit more off, fill eith Tourpret filler, paint eith Zinzzer peel stop and then top coat of normal paint.
If you paper surely you'd need to do the whole wall if not the whole room?0 -
Oh and on one wall it looks strikingly like the UK map!3

Yes it does look like the UK! I thought that too!
Don't worry, I was planning on papering the whole room, would look distinctly odd otherwise. I guess the damp proof paint was maybe just to hedge my bets a bit, the tight angle means cold air circulates in the corner so it always feels a bit cold and damp if you stand there (not that I make a habit of that!) I might see how it looks after I've done the filler and if I can get away with just painting then I'll do that. Thanks both!0 -
Sand, paint and pop a piece of furniture in front of it when the buyers come round.0
