Santander credit card. NO Amazon voucher received

I applied and received a Santander credit card via MSE link, enticed by the offer of a free £40 Amazon voucher. I've had no voucher or communication to explain how to claim the voucher. I've even contacted Santander who say it's not their problem as the promotion was via MSE!
Has anybody had a similar experience and, if so, did you manage a successful outcome?

  • This site says you have to apply through MSE on a link though it seems you would get instructions after 30 days
    Check spam folder etc
  • It is 17/01/22 and I still haven't received the email so that I can claim my voucher.  I received my credit card this time last month, more or less.  I made a note in my diary that the email should arrive this week.  I am loosing hope.  I did everything right, so what's gone wrong??
  • Hi,

I’ve just been directed here by Santander as they say it is an MSE offer and nothing to do with them.

I applied for a credit card on 15th December to get the £40 Amazon voucher. I didn’t receive any further emails and it is now 33 days since my application.

Hopefully MSE will sort these issues out....

    Thanks,

If you're over the 30 days you need to submit a claim:

    https://omgrefer.com/scc

You'll need the application number starting OLA

  • Cheers Scrounger. Just seen the link on one of the other threads and filled it all in. Will await their reply. Cheers for supplying the link. I wouldn’t have had a clue where to look...
  • I’m in the same position as you. Applied for the credit card in December and voucher not received. Santander said it isn’t their problem but did give me the OLA number. This link is no longer valid. Does anyone have a newer link?
  • I am in the same position, I took a Loan out which promised a free £50 voucher, obviously I stupidly didn't realise that was not actually from Santander (a brand I thought I could trust).  I have never received the e-mail to make a claim, and from what I have read am now too late to do so.  I have contacted Santander as I said I think this reflects badly on them as a brand, and I feel a bit like I have been scammed.

If it's an offer via a third party (like the card offer) then why is it reflecting badly on Santander when the third party is the one not paying you?
  • Because somewhere along the way Santander must have agreed to this company working with/for them.  Anyway they say they have emailed me, I say they haven’t, but I am out of time anyway.  Annoyingly I would have gone with M & S if this offer had not been shown.  I agree it’s my mistake for not reading the small print, but I do feel let down.
