Help with cancelled alarm installation

Hi I’m hoping someone can help me please.
I paid an initial deposit for an alarm system but after thinking about it & doing some research I rang back & cancelled the appointment & told the man on the phone to not take the £100 deposit as I was cancelling.
The company ( verisure alarms) has told me on several occasions that my £100 refund would be in my account in 5 days.
I’ve sent numerous phone calls & emails but they won’t even answer me anymore.
This payment was made in October 13th last year.
My bank won’t help as it’s not a faulty item & they don’t cover for changing your mind.
What else can I do please?
thanks for reading.

What do you think the purpose of a deposit is?1

Thank you, very helpful
i know what the purpose of a deposit is but I was told if I decided I didn’t want to proceed after they visited my home I would be refunded my deposit no obligation.0 -
I started looking in to the system & after reading some of the reviews I realised that they had problems with Wi-Fi connection.I already have a ring doorbell which has the same problem so I knew the system wouldn’t be any good for my needs.0

I rang them I rang them within an hour of our conversation & told them I had decided not to proceed. They were very helpful & said that’s not a problem you will have it in your bank within 5 working days.0

I'm pretty sure the point of Verisure is their monitoring is independant of WiFi, it has its own mobile connection (or used to use the phone)? But then I don't have their alarm, can't see the point.glitter58 said:I started looking in to the system & after reading some of the reviews I realised that they had problems with Wi-Fi connection.I already have a ring doorbell which has the same problem so I knew the system wouldn’t be any good for my needs.0
