Sainsbury’s credit card

i have signed up for Sainsbury’s credit card and linked it to our necta card. The issue I have is there is no way of checking the additional points have been allocated. I have messaged both Sainsbury Bank and necta without a reasonable reply. Does anyone here know how to check you’ve been allocated the correct points? My CC statement doesn’t show any additional or bonus points and the till receipt just shows the points for that transaction. I believe it’s 2 points per £1 spent. Thanks J

Hi, I have a Sainsburys credit card too, linked to my Nectar account. Every month on the pdf statement, there's a section at the bottom of the first page which shows the Nectar points earned on that statement month. And then each month around the 18th, if I check my Nectar account online, the points get added. So it's a monthly thing rather than something that happens throughout the month. 

That's odd then that the statement isn't showing anything about points - is it defintiely the statement you're looking at, i.e. clicking on the Statement section of your online account and downloading the pdf - that's the only place it shows anything to do with nectar points, so it won't say anything about them just in the list of recent transactions.

Hi, I have checked both my paper statement and my on-line statement and these both just show Nector points earned but no additional or bonus points?

You get 2 points per £1 on the card plus the 1 from using your nectar card in branch i.e. 3 per £1 if done properly. You don't get additional or bonus ones - the app gives bonus ones via the offers

Hi Farfetch, yes I’m aware of what points you get. I would just like to know how I can check I have actually received these points. As previously mentioned I have checked both paper and on-line statements.

Your statement shows the points, they are added to your balance automatically - check in the Nectar App
Mine shows a monthly update "Sainsbury's Bank - Bank - Credit Card + xxx points"
