Don't spend it just yet. They have 45 days to contest the chargeback. Which given they have proof of delivery, they are well within their rights to do. This would see you redebited.

Regarding proof of delivery -  delivery notification states a different postal address to mine so any challenge will be weak! 

Sadly not. Card regulations only state proof of delivery required. NOT that it has been delivered to the correct address.

He's talking about chargeback - apparently that is one of the T&Cs in the agreement between Visa and Mastercard

It's one of the many reasons I fail to see the point of chargeback if you are eligible for a s75 claim...
