Paying off Interest free credit cards

Hi, 
Just a question once I pay off my credit card is it worth keeping it. I have a few - I know its good to show you can handle credit for your credit score but does it make a difference having a few open- good or bad?

Your score is irrelevant, ignore it.

In general, long-standing and well-managed lines of credit reflect positively on your credit history.  As long as you don't have lots of cards with a combined limit that equates to many multiples of your income - and as long as you can be disciplined enough to only use them to buy things you can genuinely afford - it's generally good to keep cards open and use them once in a while so that they don't get closed by the issuer through non-use.

If you have many cards then once you have paid off a card close the account till you have say two left. Cards that you have paid off will be available for you apply as a new customer for balance transfers if needed.

Once paid off just use the two cards you have as and when needed and spend only what you can pay off that month.
