I have two meters and can't change from EDF

Hi all
I have two meters for my electricity. A standard meter and another meter which is just for my underfloor heating. This meter doesn't just work on specific times of the day, it isn't Economy 7 or anything else. The heating price per unit is slightly cheaper - about 2p a unit.
When I call other energy companies they have never heard of such a set up and therefore can't quote me to move supplier. EDF have just told me they want to change my direct debit to £438 a month for a two bedroom flat from £119!
Can anyone help me?
thanks, in advance

Martin says there is nothing available currently by switching that is meaningfully cheaper than a supplier's SVT, and you can't currently get a SVT by switching to someone else.

Much more info needed. What are the names of your tariffs? What are the kWh rates and standing charges, inc. VAT?Have you been sending monthly meter readings?Make sure you're not paying two standing charges.0

Sounds like you have related mpans/meters or maybe a standard meter + off peak meter, you might be limited to just a couple of suppliers who can take over, likely to be only the big suppliers, if any.Have you thought about getting an electrician in to see if you can get rid of one of the meters ?0

There are a number of obsolete weird tariffs out there. They are generally locked to whichever supplier was the "electricity board" at the time the system was installed. For example, the old Seeboard was taken over by EDF.No supplier wants to take on such a system. It's too much like hard work, and doesn't match anything their computer offers. Those suppliers who are stuck with customers on old tariffs are trying to get them closed down. The only way you will get an opportunity to switch is if you change to one of the standard tariffs (single rate or E7) and a single meter. If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0
