Cheapest postage to Rep of Ireland

Hello 

I want to send a 4kg package (childrens clothes) to an address in Dublin. It is in a bag - rough dimensions 45 X 30 X 30 cm

Cheapest the post office could do it was over £35 !! Any cheaper options available?

Where in the republic do you want to send the parcel? I used to send parcels regularly to Eire but it was via an address in NI & then they couriered to Eire

Last time I sent packages to Ireland I used DPD and UPS. Would have been about the same size and weight as your parcel and I paid about £15.

Is that via Parcel Motel? They used to offer that service but they suspended it after Brexit.
