Broken uPVC window handle

Hi all,
I feel a bit silly, but I really can't understand how to fix our ensuite window's handle. The two springs have come off and now they can't seem to want to stay in - every time we close the window, they just... spring out. Any help please?

Just swop it for a new one, less than £10  Screwfix/toolstation etc
Remove the plastic cover on the left hand side covering the screw, turn the handle up and you can access the other screw. 10 minute job.
  • Is the window closing properly as well? It might have come out because of additional pressure if its losing its shape and beginning to warp
  • As plumb1 said undo first screw lift handle as you would to open/unlock window. Undo second screw replace in reverse. Screwfix or eurocell or any upvc window stockist will sell them & they are cheap, just measure the length of the shaft as some are longer than others. The little plastic caps should just pop out with a screwdriver.
  • right hand offset . just replace it . lift handle and undo the hidden screw first . close window and pop the cover off then do that one . ( its easier than doing it open )
