Tesco Mobile Extra Charges Hike

Tesco Mobile customers will be charged more than double what they currently pay if they exceed their pay-monthly calls allowance from 9 February. Meanwhile, charges for out-of-bundle services, such as to send picture messages and to make international calls, will also rise for both pay-monthly and pay-as-you-go (PAYG) users.

    What's wrong with the simple "Tesco raise or increase mobile extra charges" instead of the stupid word HIKE, which generally means to go for a long walk.

    It's about time some of the MSE staff put a bit more effort into wring properly rather than using Daily Mail speak
    Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers
  • "Tesco says affected customers won't be able to cancel their contracts penalty-free as a result of the price hikes because the changes don't affect the basic contract rate people signed up to" - they would say that but the contract relates to the tariff as a whole...

    Some time ago now, I suggested similar about a silly attention grabbing headline. It must have gone down like a lead balloon then too!
    Tabloid "journalism" at it's best.
