They also have considerably higher prices than those that don't. Six of one, half a dozen of the other.0

Contracts are linked to the higher RPI measure rather than the lower CPI measure. Clever marketing hooks people in and creates positive headlines for the brand. Always pays to be cynical. Companies aren't charities.0

Three have more recently offered 100GB for £12.Looking for the cheapest possible SIM only deal isn't high on the priority list for everyone.IMO coverage, network reliability, terms and conditions, length of contract and customer service are more important than small savings per month. We switched both our phones from Three to O2 as the local Three site doesn't have battery backup and went off air for around 20 minutes every time there was a glitch in the mains. O2 in the same location has been significantly more reliable.Prior to covid, we spent several weeks in Europe each year and enjoyed free roaming. I am glad to see O2 are currently still offering free EU roaming, once covid settles we will again be heading to Europe and don't want the hassle of paying extra to use our phones in Europe.

We have both phones with Virgin, SIM only, and very welcome news. £10 for 10GB of data which most months rolls over to 20. Was previously with Vodafone, local mast went down whenever we had serious rain, which in the west of Scotland is pretty regular, Virgin been pretty reliable.David.0

O2 has better coverage/signal where I do regularly need.
I have always been happy with O2's customer service.
Fwiw I have long had a Three PAYG sim (which I have mostly used for roaming in the USA because that worked out cheaper).0
