What does "M" mean on my credit report next to Payment Code?

Anyone knows what this means?
With a couple of credit lenders they appear to alternate between "N/A" and "M".
Thanks

Which CRA are you looking at? Most of them will have a "glossary" that will explain what all the various codes mean.

Experian.I looked on their glossary and couldn't find an M.0

Could you post up a picture with any personal information blanked out?But my best guess would be that "M" means "Payment Made (or Met)". "N/A" means no information available. This could happen if the lender only reports to Experian every other month, so on the months they don't report, Experian has no data available.I will emphasise, this is purely a guess on my part, albeit based on some sort of logic! A screen shot may help to clarify things a bit further if you're able to get one.0

M = Minimum payment.

Is it a credit card? I guess the N/A is the months when you didn't use the card?

Payment CodeAn 'M' shows that the amount you paid in response to your last statement was equal to the minimum payment shown on the statement. If you paid more or less than the minimum payment, no letter will be shown.0
