You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time1 -
Oh Jambo, you only have to look at the IWON section, to see how you've changed peoples lives, even this week I spotted least 2 threads thanking you for amazing prizes, please don't stop, what you do, really does have an positive effect on others! if could really be the pick-up to someones day / week / month / year, I hope you re-consider when you realise the domino effect of your posts.

I missed what has happened but sorry to hear about your wife and sorry that you have decided to leave the forum. I've entered a lot of your comp posts especially the mag dailies so thanks from me for all you have contributed to the comping boards.
Sorry to hear that Blu has also left another great poster who will be sadly missed.3 -
Sorry to hear this on both counts.
Hope things get better and maybe you'll be back when you think the time is right.I need to think of something new here...0 -
Hi Dave
I'm very sorry to read about your wife and that you feel that you need to leave the forum. It is so easy for people behind a keyboard to hurt others (intentionally or otherwise) by saying things they'd never say in real life. I entirely understand needing to get away from that to protect yourself.
Thank you so much for the amount of time and energy you have put into posting competitions; it has been a huge commitment and you've helped so many people win. I hope that reading those thanks can help heal the bruises from the hurtful posters.
Best wishes for the future and hope you are able to still get joy in entering competitions (who knows with less of us remembering to do them, you might win more!)
Thanks again1 -
My condolences on the loss of your wife. I hope that you find fulfillment and happiness in all that you do for you.2

I've not been on much recently so missed all this.
I just wanted to say that both @JamboDP and @Blulu are names I recognise from years back and will be a great loss.
The comps forum will be a poorer place without them
Thanks for everything both of you !
