Has anyone been able to get their money back? And is there an authority in either UK (or Switzerland maybe, because their website says, even though I doubt that, their parent company is registered there) where one can launch a complaint please?
I am unfortunately one of the new customers their business practices managed to get a +50% higher payment that the one that was initially listed...I have requested a full refund from them within minutes but after threatening to go to the bank and the authorities I haven't been able to get a satisfactory reply, so I will launch a complaint with the bank and will see if it manages to get the charge back given the flight is within a month and I suspect they haven't had a any significant costs yet.
My bank is abroad of EU/UK and was wondering what should I do please from anyone who managed to get their money back from them? Thanks in advance0 -
The best you will get is a refund of what you paid LM. The fact that you missed the email isn't their fault.1

Thanks in advanceWhat do you mean by this?Did you agree or not agree to the 50% higher payment? What was their reply? If you didn't agree to the higher price you should have no problem getting the money back via your bank if they are not refunding.1 -
It turns out they list one price online and once you enter a card number it gets jacked up without any indication the price changes, they just give a popup that they changed your card type automatically, nothing about the price change until I got notified by the bank that I was charged +50% to the price that was showing up in all the steps leading to payment.
Turns out that they now collected the reserved funds and I am not sure if the bank will be able to do anything more, so is the best I can do getting the 90% back...this is what they wrote:Regarding your request, since you have purchased Fullflex insurance (I didn't purchase this and this was added by them also automatically) and if you want to cancel your booking you can get a refund equal to 90% of the ticket price, calculated by deducting from the total price:
-FullFlex cost
-Agency and payment fees
-Additional services (e.g. extra baggage, priority boarding, assistance for web check-in, special transport needs, etc.)
-Other tourist services (e.g. car hire, parking, airport transfer, etc.)
The value of the voucher refund with a validity of 12 months you will get if you cancel your booking with the fullflex service.
Please confirm if you want to cancel the booking before your departure flight. In case of cancellation from your part, the cancellation has to be proceeded as per terms and conditions of providers of which we have no control as travel agency.
Given they don't mention cash but a voucher refund I suspect I'd just get more bamboozled by them when I tried to but another ticket by adding more nonsense stuff I had not selected and changing the price up for an automatically changed type of payment so I would like to complain about them to the authorities too...anyone knows where please?0 -

LM payment option seems to default to Apple Pay. What payment method did you select?
You mention 50% price difference. What is this in £?1 -

This is because they do not have live prices with the airline. They will often have a different price on their website from the one on flight comparison sites. Even once you complete your purchase (what they call a booking request) they will often come back and say the flight ticket is more and say further funds are needed before they buy the ticket. This is how they work.If you are saying that they took 50% more from your card than the amount shown when you completed your order and authorised payment and you never authorised any further payment when they came back with a higher price to finalise your booking request then you should be taking it up with your card provider immediately who should be able to sort itIf you are saying the price changed during the order process and you never realised it as it wasn't properly highlighted to you and you were distracted by "changing card type" then unfortunately I think you are at the mercy of Lastminutes refund policy as highlighted.1 -

Where are you and which LM.com site did you visit and use. I have a feeling it might not be U.K.0
