If he can't borrow £755 how will he borrow £275 for a set aside application?Jenni x0

Bear in mind some solicitors won't accept settlement by credit card.
Norma W had to pay by debit card but luckily we crowdfunded almost all of it for her.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Plus he had Covid over xmas/new year and so lost quite a bit of money from his second /weekend job. Also I don't think I want to go via that route. I see where the GDPR breach could be since he asked them to remove his date. However in regard to paying that then suiing I was just reading this (all 200+ replies)on pages 8/9so I don't think we're ready for something that's not clear.D_P_Dance said:A with consent order requires no hearing, so theres a good chance it will be heard more quickly than that.
I was referring a without consent hearing. Can OP not pay and try to recoup via SSC?nosferatu1001 said:
You cant pay the CCJ and then claim it back through scc, thats not possible.nosferatu1001 said:Because you cant sue in court for a judgement ordered by the same court.
It would be an OBVIOUS abuse of process. The worse thing about reading all 20 plus pages, was no final resolution. The set aside information was useful but there was lot in those posts. I still don't know whether they brought a new case against her

I don't think that route is for him. I just did a google searching just using his work email address without his name and it was the top result. A quick look at reviews and his name is mentioned - four months ago, so he was certainly very easy to find. The previous case he'd had with them, the court corresponded by email regarding the hearing date, so I really do think CEL were pulling a fast one. I believe they knew he'd successfully defend these again if they attempted to find him and served correctly or requested permission to serve via email, so probably felt it was worth a punt. These companies really are the pits. How do people who don't have time to spend reading hours and hours of information or someone in the family to help them if they're not too good on t'internet cope. This is as bad, if not worse, than the parking ticket liberties they take. The fear people must have especially if they lost their jobs during the pandemic and are now struggling or suffering mentally, this could push them over the edge. The implications of this are bigger than ever imoRant over, time for a cuppa me thinks

Indeed, I've been reading since Sunday, I get roped in, I'm sure I don't need to read EVERYTHING on each post but compulsion takes over. I have started putting together notes from useful info now after the inpost discussions instead of just reading and then getting confused over what's being discussed or amended...I'm learning
(i hope)

It pretty much cements the fact they've not taken reasonable steps, satisfied basic avenues of enquiry or reasonable steps to trace or contact him when his information is all online. His business info/ contact details popped up in an instant Googlr search. They could of also tried Social Media such as Facebook, Linked In etc. Most parking companies and their legals/ debt monkeys seem to have LinkedIn accounts so does it not occur for them to search for people here!?! I would definitely agree they were pulling a sneaky fast one as they figured he had a high chance of successfully defending their crap! I would mention all this and evidence with screenshots.drivingmscrazy said:I just did a google searching just using his work email address without his name and it was the top result. They also have access to tracing agencies which the Debt companies use.1 -
I hear on the grapevine, that Keller Lenkner’s senior associate says that they are intending to launch a further group action against the DVLA, known as DVLA2 under the heading ‘bad processing’.
They are looking for around 100 potential claimants who fall into any of the following categories:
- PCN issued when valid ticket purchased (this probably includes other 'no breaches', like double dips).
- Court proceedings issued despite PCN being paid/appealed successfully
- PCN issued by unregulated car parking company
- PCN issued against previous owner
- PCN issued where faulty ticket machine meant individual could not purchase a parking ticket
- PCN issued against incorrect vehicle (ANPR fault – picked up incorrect reg plate)
- PCN/Court proceedings sent to wrong address
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
