Vanarama Leasing

Has anyone had any leasing deals through Vanarama before?

Iv seen they are offering a free home charger, redundancy insurance and car insurance etc with electric car leasing.

My plan is to sell my car and then use the equity to pay off my partners car settlement so it will be owned outright and then lease an electric for a 3 year term.
Mortgage Starting Balance - £158,000.00
Mortgage Outstanding - £157,271.91
Term Left - 39 Years / 10 Month

  • I never leased through Vanarama but have some business friends that did and some were happy and some were not. We've been leasing with Commercial Vehicle Contracts and never had any problems, always got a good deal and no unpleasant surprises.

Vanarama are fine. You should check out lease deal comparisons as all will have various offers on different makes and models at any one time.

Word of warning though. They like all lease companies have very very few cars in stock right now. Search their in stock items. If you can wait be aware that the wait times lease companies indicate are indicative and given the shortage of the supply lease companies are at the back of the queue as manufacturers prioritise building cars that make them the most money…e.g. through their own finance deals.

I know someone who has been waiting 12 months for their lease order and still doesn’t even have a build slot. So best case add another 4 months on at least. But it could be longer or likely never they actually receive their car.

Always check what their delivery time is. If it’s days or a few weeks it means it’s in stock. If it’s under 10 weeks it probably means they have them on order. Anything else is almost certainly going to be an extreme wait and potentially a much longer wait than walking into a dealer and ordering a factory build would be….and that’s already long.
